Kaneohe is such a treasured place because it is nestled in between towering mountain peaks and beautiful Kaneohe Bay. The Koolau Mountain Range keeps the area quite cool, while the bay serves as an ideal playground for sunbathing and water sports. People often sail or motor their boats to the Sand Bar that emerges in the middle of the bay during low tide. No wonder they call this ‘Paradise’.
